"Aufbruch" – work goes on
I’ve finally continued my work on the hairy cube called “Aufbruch” (departure) today. I had painted it with golden color already a while ago:

Now I’ve started to dab it with copper coating and patina:
The effect is really interesting:
I’m also working on some paintings with folded/crumpled paper on canvas. (More coming soon)
I’ve worked on the first three sides of the cube today. Now it’s drying. I’ll continue with the other sides soon.

That patina looks beautiful.
Thanks, Kelly. The most interesting thing is that the colors change depending from where the light comes. Sometimes there is bright gold or copper, sometimes it is only the foggy green. Maybe I should try to get that on video…
