"Blue series" - brushed acryilcs on canvas (four canvasses of 20x20cm each)

Pure Ultramarine was literally brushed with a hard, large bristle brush over the canvasses until the colour was dry. By variating the direction and intensity of the brushing, these textures have emerged from the colour.
