This painting shows how even failed trials can become interesting creations.

In the beginning, stars of Carmine, light Naphtol Red and Oxide Black were formed on the canvas with a large flat bristle brush blurring out to the edges of the canvas. But as the result failed to please even after several corrections, the canvas was overcoated with Oxide Black in order to use it for a new painting. The stars however couldn't be hidden completly. So they were washed out of the black coating with a wet sponge.
