This painting was made exclusively with a palette knife. By mixing light Napthol Red, Burnt Siena and medium Permanent Green directly on the canvas, a rusty looking, snail-formed texture emerged. When it was dry Gold and touches of Titanium White were applied on the texture with a dry brush.
