"Couple" - acrylics and paper on canvas (80x120cm)

The canvas was coloured with Burnt Siena, Iron Oxide Black and pigments of dark Iron Oxide Brown. By pressing binder-coated paper on the slightly dry colour and then pulling it off again, the white effects emerged. The figures were made from silkpaper and package paper (also binder-coated) that was crinkled and smoothed out again before being put on the canvas. The final accents were created with transparent coats of Gold and Copper.
