Rob's disc

This painting was made for Rob, an Italian friend, who is a jazz musician. He sent me a cd with his music and I tried to paint something that fits with it. I tried to refer a little to "Gold" as he liked that one. Then I also tried to imply the idea of a disc. It's shining in the middle (= NEW) and used on the outside (=OLD) to symbolise the modernity and tradition of jazz.
